Anna Pollard
Anna Pollard has spent more than 30 years working with seniors across community health, state-subsidized home care, rehabilitation hospitals, and primary care settings. She has been part of the Alder team for 20 years — growing from care manager to Director of Clinical Services to her current role as Senior Director of Clinical Excellence, where she upholds clinical standards and mentors care managers across the organization. She is an Advanced Professional member of the Aging Life Care Association, facilitates Alzheimer's Association Caregiver Support Groups, and serves on the board of Better Day Adult Social Day Program in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
Anna's connection to this work began long before her career did — in the relationships she had with her grandparents and great-aunt during their elder years, which gave her an early sense of what it means to truly show up for someone as they age. She came to care management because it allows her to utilize the full depth of her clinical skill in a way no other helping profession quite makes possible. What she loves most is being the calm in the chaos for clients and families, and passing that steadiness on to the care managers she works alongside every day. When she's not working, Anna enjoys hiking and kayaking.
