Deborah Wollner is a registered nurse and Certified Care Manager with over 20 years of healthcare experience spanning clinical nursing, assisted living leadership, and nearly a decade in care management at Alder. Before nursing, she worked in academic administration — a path that changed after a nurse helped her navigate a life-changing diagnosis of her own. That moment clarified everything.
She moved into her current career because she wanted to be the kind of person who could show up for someone in the worst of it. Deborah is able to walk alongside families facing impossible decisions and guide them through the maze one step at a time. Her compassion and clear communication are what make her effective, her sense of humor about the full, unglamorous reality of this work is what makes her love it. When she's not working, Deb is most likely planning her next trip — recent adventures have taken her to Paris, Panama, and Cape Verde.
