Julia Marchand has been a social worker for nine years, the last four focused in care management. Her background spans hospital-based medicine and psychiatry, skilled nursing facility leadership as Director of Social Services, and a medical house-call program supporting older adults living with chronic health conditions. She brings deep knowledge of elder care resources throughout Greater Boston, with specialized expertise in palliative care, hospice, and goals-of-care conversations.

Julia came to elder care with a strong sense of purpose: older adults are one of the fastest-growing populations in the country, and among the most underserved in social work. She believes they deserve care managers who are knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely effective advocates, and that is what she brings to every client relationship. By combining a social work lens with clinical experience, she helps families understand their options, plan proactively for what lies ahead, and make confident decisions as needs change. Outside of work, Julia enjoys reading and photography.
