Kate Granigan brings 25 years of experience as a Geriatric Social Worker with a Master's degree in Social Work from Boston College. She holds licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts and a Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology. Before joining LifeCare Advocates, she founded and operated a successful care management practice for 17 years. Her professional involvement includes current Board of Directors membership with the Aging Life Care Association (ALCA) and Fellow status in their Leadership Academy. She also serves on the Massachusetts Guardianship Association Advisory Board. Her recognition includes the 2014 Outstanding Chapter Member Award and 2019 President's Award from ALCA. She is a National Association of Social Workers member and regularly lectures and provides seminars to social workers, attorneys, and consumers on caregiving, dementia, and healthy aging topics.
